Green on the outside...

Brian Moran, a gubernatorial hopeful for Virginia, is looking to flex his green muscles. Mostly by looking to ban a coal burning power plant in Virginia.
Moran said the proposed plant in Surry County would contribute to global warming, worsen air quality in Richmond and Hampton Roads, and contribute to nitrogen pollution in the Chesapeake Bay.
Nothing quite like trying to block future jobs with a looming recession on the horizon.

One other I learned about Moran. He older brother is in the US House of Representatives. Jim Moran, who has no qualms about wanting to 'share' the wealth.

The money quote for those who do not want to wait for the video:
We have been guided by a Republican administration who believes in the simplistic notion that people who have wealth are entitled to keep it and they have an antipathy towards redistributing wealth and they may be able to sustain it for a while but it doesn’t work in the long run.
From a man worth well over a million dollars. For thee but not for me.

The watermelon doesn't grow far from the vine. Green on the outside, red on the inside.

H/T for Hot Air for the Jim Moran clip.
