This is a bit of inside blogging baseball but the message needs to get out. The blog will return to its normal incoherent self soon.
The easiest way to become a pariah on the right side of the blogosphere is to go after Michelle Malkin. Which is what Paleo Pat did. The background information about Paleo Pat or Chuck Adkins or whatever else he goes by this week.

One Term Congressman Alan "Gumby" Grayson Returns, Vowing A Sequel And Drops A Green Lantern Reference
Now that Weiner is out of the Democrat 'Attack Dog' position, Grayson thinks it's time to make his comeback.
Then paraphrases this exchange:
And he goes on with a terminal case of Projection:
I know, Grayson is sending this out to his sheep who would never question him simply because of his politics. Or be bothered with the fact that it was Obama who helped to start the war with Libya. Or that it was the Democrats who want to extend unemployment benefits out to 99 weeks, keeping people on the public dole for that much longer.
But Alan Grayson isn't scum. Let's get that clear.
Former Florida Congressman Alan Grayson was kicked out of office after only two years for being one of the most angry, Republican-bashing liberals in the country. In his short time in office, he accused Republicans of wanting people to die, called a female Federal Reserve advisor a "whore," and often publicly compared the Tea Parties to the KKK. Many Florida residents considered him an embarrassment to the state.
Then paraphrases this exchange:
I may never have the chance to talk to George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, or any of the other Masters of the Universe who led and misled our country for eight long years. Nor may I ever have the chance to speak to Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh, or any of the other savage right-wing loons who want to finish the job that Bush et al. started. But if I could, I might say:
Me: I've been readin' about you ... How you work for multinational corporations like Big Oil.... And how you say you built all those roads and schools and bridges in some country in Asia. And in some other country in the Middle East someplace you got rid of some dictator. Only there's one country you never bother with – America! I want to know ... how come?! Answer me that, Mr. Flag-Waiving Patriot!
And he goes on with a terminal case of Projection:
And we've seen them replaced by endless war, falling home values, no pensions, lower wages, and now what Karl Marx called a "reserve army of the unemployed" – to keep wages down forever.
Allan Grayson is the disease-causing bacteria which infect the parasitical worms found in putrid diarrhetic feces oozing from the rectums of scavengers that prey upon maggots which grow in the decaying carcasses of poisonous vipers that die after eating insects which consume tainted scum.

Clearing Out The Browser Tabs And Kicking Out The Cobwebs
Been sitting on this for over a month but every time I read it, I'm still flabbergasted. Noxious windbag Ed Schultz wants to know why there aren't any country songs glamorizing Pres. Obama.
I blame the drug wars for this: Home chemistry kit now comes with no chemicals in said kit. It's more of a chemistry shopping list/tease ("Here is what you could be doing if you had the actual tools at hand"). Why not charge to download a list of items a kid needs? Too many DEA agents look at little curious Johnny's chemistry kit and suspects him to be a meth dealer.
If you like your insurance, you can keep it. If not, just make less money to qualify for free health care.
This is the end game for ObamaCare. To make the current system unaffordable for employers, (by making everyone buy the same approved gold star plan across the board) they would dump their plans and force employees to fend for health coverage for themselves seeing how it would be mandatory by law to be covered.
If there is ever an argument about dropping the prisoners in Club Gitmo off in the middle of the ocean from a flying C-130 5000 feet above sea level it's these three words: Weaponized body fluids.
Is Hank Reardon alive and well, living in the Detroit area? Thanks to Matt for finding that tidbit.
Finally, this was one of a few complaints that I had about Pres. Bush. Tax money for charities and churches sound like a good idea at first but who decides which charity gets what?
It also makes churches beholding to the government. Gay marriage will be the keystone on this issue. If a church is accepting public funding then what strings are attached? A church can say they aren't going to perform gay marriages but yet accepts funding, that funding could be revoked and then the church will be left on its own (as it should). At that point, we'll see if the church submits itself to the rule of the government or if it will make a stand.

Video: In Where A Liberal Shrieking Harpy's Video Makes The Exact Opposite Point She Intended
During the Netroots/Right Online dueling conventions last weekend, failed Air America radio host Nicole Sandler confronts James O'Keefe then posts this.
For whatever reason, I don't know why. It's not as if she pegged O'Keefe in a lie. She's fixated on the pimp costume that O'Keefe wore when he was promoting his ACORN sting videos.
Which really is a non-issue. The heart of the matter of the ACORN videos was that they were actively helping O'Keefe and Hannah Giles in setting up their 'brothel'. With underage illegal aliens. Which wasn't an issue with any of ACORN offices ("Let's see. . . Form 42B. That should cover 'House of ill-repute and Tax Shelter'. Thank you for stopping by ACORN").
The issue of the pimp costume is about as relevant to the perv knocking on Chris Hanson's door and saying that he's in the clear because there actually wasn't a 14 year old boy at the house.
But they fixating on the costume thinking that if they bust O'Keefe on the costume, it renders the rest of the videos moot. But it's not a chain of evidence where if one link breaks the chain is gone. It's a braided rope where if a strand breaks, the rest of the videos are still attached. It shouldn't matter what O'Keefe or Giles wore. The truth of the matter was the trained staff reacted the same way when asked for help in setting up a tax shelter for the brothel.
None of that matters to Ms. Sandler who insists herself upon O'Keefe. Her liberalism is a mental disorder and her ears can't hear or understand that.

Weinergate: Weiner Calls It Quits
Handed in his letter of resignation. No word yet if he's accept Larry Flint's offer yet.
There has been some talk about how since he was a Democrat caught in a sex scandal, he wasn't going anywhere. Normally, that would be true but Weiner was married to Hillary Clinton's top aide. There wasn't any walking back after publicly humiliating Hillary's confidant.
Obviously, this is all speculation on my part. Who knows exactly what all lead Weiner to finally quit. He's gone and good riddance.
Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) has now officially resigned from the House of Representatives — and House Speaker John Boehner (R.-Ohio) has the letter to prove it.
“I hereby resign as the Member of the House of Representatives for New York’s Ninth Congressional District effective at midnight Tuesday June 21, 2011,” Weiner wrote. “It has been an honor to serve the people of Queens and Brooklyn.”
The letter, dated June 20, is addressed to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D.) and Cesar Perales, New York’s Secretary of State. It is carbon-copied to Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.)

Weinergate: Good News For Weiner!
A job offer just opened up for him. Good news too for this rough economy.
He had better take the work where he can find it and I have a feeling this would be right up his alley [Link to the Puff Ho]:
Working for Hustler might be a step up in respectability for a Democrat member of Congress.
He had better take the work where he can find it and I have a feeling this would be right up his alley [Link to the Puff Ho]:
Mr. Weiner:
After having learned of your sudden and compelled resignation from your Congressional post, I would like to make you an offer of employment at Flynt Management Group, LLC in our Internet group. As a Congressman, you are known for your intensity and perseverance. I believe that this attitude, combined with your service in the House of Representatives' Committee on Energy and Commerce, will make you a valuable asset to this corporation.
This offer is not made in jest. To show our sincerity, Flynt Management Group, LLC is willing to pay twenty percent more than your former Congressional salary, ensuring that your medical benefits would be equal to what you were previously receiving. While you will have to relocate to our corporate offices in Beverly Hills, California, we would pay for all relocation costs.
Again, I cannot emphasize enough the genuineness of this offer. We are a serious corporation which, as you know, has been heavily involved in the political environment of this country for over thirty-five years. Our key missions have consistently included the crucial fight of battling hypocrisy within the federal and state governments. Flynt Management Group, LLC and Hustler Magazine have been dedicated to decades of serious political commentary. Just as we do not undertake insincere political crusades, we do not make insincere job offers.
While this employment opportunity is being offered in large part due to your qualifications and clear passion for making a change, I feel that your unfortunate resignation is a prime example of unfounded political pressure and the hypocrisy that has invaded democracy in Washington D.C. I hope you will sincerely consider this offer, and I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Larry C. Flynt
Working for Hustler might be a step up in respectability for a Democrat member of Congress.

Weinergate: Belittled Weiner Resigns From Congress
As with most of these headlines, it's akin to Babe Ruth stepping up to the plate in a game of tee-ball.
Anyway, Weiner called a presser for this announcement today:
One more special election in New York and one more chance for the Republican Party of New York to mess it up.
Anyway, Weiner called a presser for this announcement today:
Anthony Weiner announced his resignation from Congress on Thursday, apologizing for the "embarrassment" his personal behavior caused to his family and colleagues.
Standing without his wife but before a horde of media at a senior center in his Brooklyn district, Weiner said he had hoped to continue his work in the House but "unfortunately, the distraction that I created has made that impossible."
Resigning, Weiner said, will allow him to "continue to heal from the damage that I have caused."
One more special election in New York and one more chance for the Republican Party of New York to mess it up.

Video: "Give Us Your Cash. . ."
Ladd Ehlinger Jr's latest video has hit the streets.
But before I get to the video, some context by Robert Stacy:
The Democrat Party: No bad idea goes unrewarded.
Moving on, this video wasn't produced by the Republican candidate but by Turn Right, USA.
Video would be roughly rated a PG-13 for those at work or at home with families.
I'll let Ladd explain what the video is about:
And who doesn't like a good metaphor?
But before I get to the video, some context by Robert Stacy:
Janice Hahn is the Democrat running for Congress in the July 12 special election in California’s 36th District, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Jane Harman.
As a member of the Los Angeles City Council, Hahn promoted a program to use taxpayer money to hire convicted criminals as “gang intervention specialists.” Predictably, Hahn’s government employment program for gangsters amounted to a taxpayer subsidy for violent crime.

I'll let Ladd explain what the video is about:
It's having fun with a basic metaphor. You can guess what the metaphor is.
Before you charge racism at the ad, consider her one line in the video: "It takes a different kind of person to speak the language." By that she means, it takes black people to talk to black people. It takes gang members to talk to gang members. They have their own language, we should coddle them. They're not responsible for their actions if they murder someone, rape someone. They're a minority.
And who doesn't like a good metaphor?

Weinergate: The End?
Breaking fast over at Fox News:
Thanks to Bob at The Camp for pointing this out.
The NYT has more:
Rep. Weiner will request a short leave of absence and is reportedly seeking treatment after top Democratic leaders called for his resignation following sexting scandal.
Thanks to Bob at The Camp for pointing this out.
The NYT has more:
Representative Anthony D. Weiner planned to check himself into a treatment center on Saturday after House Democratic leaders, including Nancy Pelosi, called on him to resign and suggested he needed psychiatric counseling.
[. . .]
“Congressman Weiner departed this morning to seek professional treatment to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person,” said the spokeswoman, Risa Heller. “In light of that, he will request a short leave of absence from the House of Representatives so that he can get evaluated and map out a course of treatment to make himself well.
“Congressman Weiner takes the views of his colleagues very seriously and has determined that he needs this time to get healthy and make the best decision possible for himself, his family and his constituents.”
Weinergate: Calls For Resignation From. . . Nancy Pelosi?
Via Drudge.
When Nancy Pelosi says that it's time for Weiner to go, he won't be long for his time in Congress:
Makes me wonder if they know something that isn't widely know publicly yet and try to put some distance between themselves and Weiner:
Likes rats abandoning a sinking ship.
What does it say about Weiner when even Pelosi wouldn't associate with him? Potential flirty with a 17 year old girl would do that.
Is it too soon to go with this?
When Nancy Pelosi says that it's time for Weiner to go, he won't be long for his time in Congress:
Three weighty Democratic voices -- including Nancy Pelosi -- on Saturday called for the resignation of embattled U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, who has been under fire after admitting to inapporpriate communications with women online.
The House Minority Leader, and the chairmen of the Democratic National Committee and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in separate statements called for Weiner to step down.
The New York congressman has resisted calls to resign.
Makes me wonder if they know something that isn't widely know publicly yet and try to put some distance between themselves and Weiner:
Pelosi has asked the House Ethics Committee to investigate whether Weiner used any government resources. He has said he does not believe he did [Despite one picture of Weiner where he is obviously in his office. Ed].
At least nine House members and three senators said Weiner should resign. He has repeatedly said he would not.

Newt-- The Candidate Who Sucks The Air Away From The Real Candidates-- Suffers A Setback
Like the Black Knight said, "It's just a flesh wound."
It goes on to say who is leaving for which campaign. So their question is in judgement to start out with for joining Newt's campaign. How sound is their judgment in joining Tim Pawlenty's?
You know who this benefits in the end? Herman Cain.
I'm going off of memory, speculation and an assortment of Old Wives Tales and internet rumors (so you know just how accurate this will be). But in order for a candidate to have access to their election campaign funds, they need to be declared and actually running for that office. Then they can pay themselves a salary from the warchest. In between election years, it needs to be locked.
Hence Newt's announcement and his disconnect in actually running a campaign election (as highlighted by his decision to take a Mediterranean cruise). I think he has had a few large donations from the typical deep pocket Republicans too when first started. All to keep him afloat with Someone Else's Money.*
*So I might be a little jaded when it comes to Newt.
Top aides to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich have resigned en masse, Fox News has learned, imperiling the Republican's 2012 presidential campaign at a crucial time.
Among the senior staff members Gingrich is losing are spokesman Rick Tyler and campaign manager Rob Johnson, along with other strategists. Insiders say Gingrich and senior aides were unable to agree on the direction of the campaign.
[. . .]
Gingrich ran into trouble early on when he bluntly criticized House Republicans' plan for overhauling Medicare. He has since walked that back, but disagreements continued to fester on his team over the message and strategy of the campaign. Aides said the team was increasingly concerned Gingrich did not appear willing or able to put in the time needed to run a viable campaign. In one clash, they had begged him not to leave the trail for a Mediterranean cruise with his wife -- advice he ignored.
It goes on to say who is leaving for which campaign. So their question is in judgement to start out with for joining Newt's campaign. How sound is their judgment in joining Tim Pawlenty's?

Weinergate: The Top Ten List
So it's come to this. Almost two weeks of Weinergate-- one week of him denying anything and the second week of him finally admitting that it was him after all-- and the worst of the worst picture was leaked. No, not a direct link but a link to a link. That way, it's up to the viewer to decide.
So here in the inevitable List Of Top Ten Things Said About Anthony Weiner's, uh, picture. From the home office in Shaftsburg, Michigan.
10. Gone from sex scandals to sexting scandals.
09. He takes those Congressional Briefings very seriously.
08. Possible campaign slogan, "Weiner for 2012: All my issues are laid bare."
07. I guess he's all for transparency.
06. Standing firm on the issues of the day.
05. How did Breitbart convince Weiner to take a naked picture of himself?
04. [Insert your own Weiner joke here]
03. Does anyone still believe #hacked! anymore?
02. He poles well with impressionable women and gay men.
And the number one thing that was said about Antony Weiner:
01. Who knew that Anthony Weiner was such an upstanding member of Congress?

They Told Me That If I Voted Republican That The Government Would Try To Destroy The Arts. . .
And they were right.
When art is offensive to leftists sensibilities, it's gotta be censored. When it offends a conservative? Suck it up, wingnut.

Weinergate: Weiner Fesses Up
He admitted to sending the lewd picture on Twitter. No shocker there. He even gave a public apology to Andrew Breitbart, which hurt his ego to no end, I'd wager.
The skeevy part is this video from ABC that The Other McCain put up. He did this interview just a day or two before admitting he was lying about the entire #Weinergate saga.
Watching this and the only thing going through my mind is this guy is a douchebag of a magnificent proportions.

Weinergate: Weiner's Story So Full Of Holes Even His Water Carriers In Congress Are Dropping The Buckets
Yeah, the headline is a mixed metaphor but the double entendres are getting old. Even for someone like me who is known to beat a horse to death and then some with a joke.
Steny Hoyer, however, is now catching up with the story so it's all new to him.
Weiner has yet to admit it yet but it's plain as day that everyone knows that it was him in the picture. It's the obvious elephant in the room.

Steny Hoyer, however, is now catching up with the story so it's all new to him.
Rep. Anthony Weiner's onetime Democrat allies were quick to abandon the lawmaker yesterday, just hours after he admitted it certainly could be his bulging crotch shot that was sent to a cute co-ed from his Twitter account.
Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-Queens) had a big smile on his face when he greeted a Post reporter yesterday by saying he was doing "better than Anthony."
Ackerman also admitted, "It's a little strange" that Weiner said he can't be sure it isn't his manhood in the photo.
"He's handling it -- I hope," House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) told The Post, adding he didn't know "what's going on" with Weiner.
[. . .]
As for Weiner's congressional seat, a Democratic source pointed out the surprisingly strong 41.5 percent of the vote that Republican challenger Bob Turner got against Weiner in the 2010 House election.
"Something like this could boost a Weiner opponent by 7 percentage points and, based on his last race, that could make it a serious race," the source said.
Weiner has yet to admit it yet but it's plain as day that everyone knows that it was him in the picture. It's the obvious elephant in the room.

Weinergate: Weiner Pulls Out. . .
. . . Of the state Democratic convention in Wisconsin where he was scheduled to speak.
I may have played with that quote a little. But I think most people were able to see between the lines. Thanks to Lance for the heads up.
My hope for this is that it will dog him for the rest of his career. That when someone hears Anthony Weiner, they will think of a dick pic going out on Twitter. The same way if someone hears the name Richard Gere, they think, "Gerbil".
By the way: Is this really the actions of an innocent person? He was violated on a virtual level but that's just a 'Prank'. No need to press charges against the person who tried to defame his reputation.
But when a member of the press stops by for a comment for his constituents, the cops are called.
Right.
"He decided to spend the weekend begging and pleading with his wife to stand by his side at the inevitable news conference" said state chair Mike Tate.

Weinergate: Brett Favre And Anthony Weiner In A Tale Of Two Pics
As a quarterback in high school and in college, Brett Favre didn't lack in attention from the opposite sex. In fact, I'm pretty sure he didn't have to do much to get a girlfriend. Just be the star player on the team. No need to really develop a love language or even personality. His entire game plan has been him mumbling, "Hey, I'm Brett Favre."
So when he was turned down by a very attractive sideline reporter, his game was thrown and he had to resort to Plan B. Which because Plan A worked so well, Plan B was still to beg and plead with the girl like when he was 14 and just discovering girls. And if that wouldn't impress them the miracle of texting pictures might. And pretty much everyone knows the rest of that story.
Which brings us to Anthony Weiner. Obviously he wasn't a high school jock.
In fact, I'm pretty sure that with the last name of 'Weiner' and wearing that turtleneck in a yearbook picture lent itself to no end of ridicule at Weiner's expense. Some might even say that Weiner has a chip on his shoulder from it still.
Anyway, instead of sports, Weiner sought out a very different path in life. That of politics and power. In fact, if it wasn't for his political connections, he wouldn't have married a woman who was way out of his league.
Power is seductive. Especially someone who was considered to be in a 'safe' seat like his. In New York city where-- and I say this with certitude-- has a lifetime job should he want it, power corrupts when there is no need for a check or balance in the form of someone running against you.
Then couple that with his history of chasing women, his habit of following good looking babes on Twitter, would it be that much of a stretch of the imagination for him to have been sexting Gennette Nicole Cordova and accidentally send a picture of his crotch public instead of sending it private?
It can be said that both Favre and Weiner have had 'success' with the ladies. Just not when they need to communicating with them.
Related: I call dibs on the headline, "Weiner Pulls Out" should he have to cancel.

Father Drops Daughter Trying To Catch Foul Ball
